Helping kids learn STEM skills like coding and electronics shouldn’t feel like a chore. That’s why we created Thinker Maker Coder — a hands-on, story-driven way to learn STEM that keeps kids excited and engaged.
Whether you’re a parent, homeschooler, or STEM educator, we make it easier (and way more fun) to teach coding and electronics through storytelling. Our STEM kits for kids turn learning into an adventure — and it all starts with a mission.
Why We Do This
I’m Winston, co-creator of Thinker Maker Coder — and I know firsthand how frustrating learning can be when the method just doesn’t work for your brain. I have ADHD, and traditional ways of learning to code never clicked with me. But when information was wrapped in a story? Suddenly, I could follow along, stay focused, and actually get it.
That’s when I teamed up with my friend Jeff, a tech expert with years of experience in coding and electronics. Together, we created something we wished we had as kids — a way to learn coding, electronics, and Arduino for beginners that doesn’t feel like school… it feels like an epic mission.
Thinker Maker Coder was built to help kids stay curious, creative, and confident while learning real STEM skills. Because when learning feels like a story, it sticks.
How We Help
We design STEM kits that include everything your child needs to start building and coding on Day One. No complicated prep, no scavenger hunts for parts — just open the box and dive into a story-based mission.
Each lesson is part of a bigger adventure, whether it’s cracking codes, building spy gadgets, or hacking into a villain’s secret base. Kids don’t even realize they’re learning — they’re just having fun.
And when kids are having fun, they stay motivated. That means better results, faster learning, and fewer “do I have to?” moments for you.
Does Story-Based STEM Work? The Research Says Yes.
– People remember stories 22x better than facts alone – The New York Times
– 65% more engagement when lessons use storytelling – University of Melbourne
– Improved problem-solving and comprehension – NCBI, Dr. Jerome Bruner
– Higher test scores for STEM students taught through story – Journal of Educational Psychology

We’re a small team with a big mission. I’ve taught entire classrooms for a major U.S. defense contractor, and I use my background in visual storytelling to make complex topics fun and accessible. Jeff brings years of coding and electronics experience to the table.
Together, we built Thinker Maker Coder to help families like yours succeed in STEM.
